Every year in UK, more than 200,000 people are dying because of the dreadful disease called lung cancer. Also a world report says that more than 2 million people have been the victim of this disease each year. Both women and men are almost equally affected by lung cancer. In USA, every year, the number of count is increasing at constant rate. Though many preventive measures have been taken by government, the toll of lung cancer victims is kept on climbing up.
With the 99% of the US population, a report describes that more than 0.2 million people in US are affected by lung cancer and nearly 150,000 people are died from lung cancer. Now-a-days, at least 8 out of 10 people are exposed to the habit of smoking. Once the world goes this way, then lung cancer will top the death causing diseases list. A study says that if 10 people are diagnosed positive for lung cancer, then only 2 of them can survive. Though many improvements in the medical technologies has arrived, curing lung cancer completely is still a challenge to medical world.
